ORGANISATION

Maidenhead U3A committee, elected annually, holds Monthly Committee meetings. Principal Committee Officers are:-

Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, and Group Co-ordinator.

Now in our tenth year,

Monthly Meetings, Outings, and some 40 Study subject in over 50 Groups or Activities, are offerd to our 500+ members.

MEMBERSHIP

      Annual membership of the Maidenhead branch is £12, which entitles members to attend any or all activities, subject only to space constraints, (since most Group activities are in member's homes).

Maidenhead U3A is well equipped and financially sound, funding its activities from annual revenues.

Capital equipment acquisitions have been made from a Millennium Grant and a local Trust Fund.

Gift Aid registration provides additional revenues which further support our activities.

   

As elsewhere in the U3A, there are no age constraints, though typically members will be retired from  full employment. U3A is non- sectarian, and non- political; it does not discriminate on grounds of age, sex, creed, physique, nationality, language, or ability.

CATCHMENT AREA

    Established in 1998,  Maidenhead U3A serves Maidenhead, the local communities of Bray, Bourne End,  Cookham, Taplow, and further afield should members wish to travel to us.

Within the last two years Maidenhead has helped U3As to be established in Marlow and Windsor, with whom we share members and interests.
